Ingredients:
- 1 can Holiday Corned Beef 215g
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/8 cup potato, peeled and shredded
- 1/8 cup carrot, peeled and shredded
- 2 tbsp celery, minced
- ½ cup white onion, diced
- ¼ cup parsley, minced
- Cooking oil for frying
- Cheese, cubed, ½ inch thick
For Coating:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2-3 cups white bread crumbs
Procedure:
- Mix all ingredients except cheese. Put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
- Get a portion of the mixture and add a piece of cheese.
- Coat the cubed mixture with flour, then dip in beaten eggs and place it on a bed of bread crumbs to cover.
- Press the coating lightly with the flat surface of your palm to ensure an even surface.
- Deep-fry nuggets in low moderate heat until golden brown.
- Makes 25-30 nuggets.
