Stir Fry with Pork Tocino

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack (150g) Sunpride Pork Tocino
  • 1 medium-size green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg beaten, cooked and sliced


For Sauce:

  • 1 ½ tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • ½ tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp MSG (monosodium glutamate)
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Procedure:

  • Cook tocino according to package instruction then slice it into strips. Set aside.
  • Blanch bean sprouts into boiling water for half a minute.
  • Heat wok with ½ tbsp oil.
  • Stir-in tocino, bell pepper, carrots, and bean sprouts. Add the sauce.
  • Toss and stir.
  • Serve hot. Makes 2-3 servings.
